Loudly sighing, you tried to get up slowly on your own. Lately, everything was hard on the both of you. Jumin wasn’t often at home, even though you needed him the most, but not just you, his pregnant wife but also C&R. The company was facing a difficult time. After your marriage you started to work in the company too as Jumin saw how competent you were. You supported Jaehee with her work and advised Jumin in a few decisions. However, the company didn’t have the best image thanks to the Chairman who was often involved in scandals, making a lot of partners change.
,,It’s logical. Imagine Seven is a good person, knows how to handle his business and can handle every single security based error. He is the best in that department.’’ ,,Thanks Mc-’’ ,,Shut up, she is explaining, I bet this is something she learned overseas,’’ Zen tried to make the red haired man shut up as you guys had a RFA meeting. However, you somehow ended up talking about the company. ,,But Seven is known for his tasteless prank. How could such a big company have so many-’’ it didn’t take you long until you turned off the radio and instead called Jumin, who of course didn’t take the call. Instead you entered the chatroom, seeing that luckily Jaehee was online.
,,Jaehee!’’ your fingers quickly typed on the display. You were shivering, scared, but not because of your existence. You weren’t scared at all, but you were more worried for Jumin. You knew how much he loved the company, how much it meant to him, and now… ,,Mc… I’m sorry we didn’t tell you anything but…’’ she sent the message without adding anything. ,,Jaehee, how is Jumin?’’ you asked her and suddenly you felt a sharp pain in your heart. Before she could answer anything, you informed her that you would come right away. ,,It’s gone… just like you said… no one wanted to work with us anymore, people demanded more and more money… And I was… scared,’’ he mumbled. ,,What do you mean…?’’ you asked him. You were sure that Jumin did have enough money to save C&R if you guys really were bankrupt. How could he- ,,You didn’t invest into the company anymore?’’ you asked him, whispering, scared someone could hear you. Jumin looked at you, nodding. ,,I… I am… I feel so bad but… you’re pregnant… we’ll become parents soon. If I would have saved the company, all my money would have been gone and, how can this help me if my father already destroyed the company? This is a hopeless case… I just had to give it up…’’ he sobbed and you knew that Jumin made a decision based on you and your child, not his own family or something he owned.
,,Jumin…’’ you began, ,,you did well… you decided something so difficult on your own. You… you decided to take a hard path instead of the short cut and I am so proud… and you know what? We can just take it and go… let’s make this baby grow up in a different environment. I know that you have what it takes to have your own company. We can do it better with the two of you,’’ you whispered and suddenly you had the feeling that Jumin seemed… happier. ,,You… do you mean it?’’ he asked you.
It was hard. Chairman Han was… furious. Jumin stood strongly in front of you as his father threw every possible bad word at him. Jumin smiled. ,,I will make sure that you won’t regret choosing me as your boss once again,’’ he nodded. ,,Well, I already regret it so… I want 30% more than here. I want 35 hours a week with 35 days off in the year and I want to have money for every hour I work overtime and I beg you, never ever leave your cat with me again,’’ Jaehee said, making Jumin look… rather surprised. ,,Guess Jaehee grew over the years with you. Give her what she demands, Jumin!’’ you laughed and observed how she packed her stuff. Jumin and Jaehee worked on a new concept, talked to banks, made layouts, and searched for new people. Yoosung was one of them, as well as Seven, who was in charge of IT.
,,The website looks like shit, Seven,’’ you moaned as you told him what to change. ,,I never knew that people who work in marketing and social media design are like this…’’ he mumbled and tried to change what you demanded from him. ,,Customer Relation Management, Yoosung, you have to make sure that you know what it is!’’ you tried to explain while he massaged your shoulders. ,,Mc, you are such a strict teacher,’’ he sobbed as you explained what he needed to know step for step. Jumin looked around himself. The bed made a cracking noise as your bare feet touched the cold floor, making sounds as you slowly walked towards the door, opening it and walking straight to the living room.
Jumin, who woke up from the noise, slowly climbed out of bed just to follow you and check on you, his sleepwalking wife.
Ever since he knew about this detail, he made sure that you guys had a whole floor in his penthouse just with sleeping rooms. No other possible harmful things were around so that it was impossible for you to accidentally hurt yourself while sleepwalking.
Once again, you tried to open the locked door, knocking a few times before you sighed and turned around, tiptoeing back to your bedroom and falling right back asleep.
Jumin smiled as he observed you and also laid back, ready to catch up on his sleep…
Zen
The first time was the scariest as he heard something coming from the kitchen.
Your boyfriend didn’t lose any time approaching you, just to see you washing nothing below the flowing water.
,,Mc? Princess?“ he called you, rubbing his eyes as he observed you.
,,Are you ignoring me because I came first?“ he joked, still getting a silent treatment.
When he suddenly tried to approach you, he just saw how you began to cut nothing with a real knife, making him panic as you seemed to not react to anything.
,,What the hell are you doing, Mc?!’’ he whined, trying to grab you when he suddenly realized that you once mentioned that you would walk in your sleep once in a while.
Totally sleepy, Zen stayed next to you, observing you until you finished and walked back to bed.
,,Mc, we need to lock the kitchen at night,’’ he sighed when you woke up in the morning, noticing his dark circles.
,,I was scared for my life actually,’’ he whined and hugged you.
Yoosung
By now he was totally used to it and he knew that days when you were stressed, would be a chaotic night once again.
Yawning, Yoosung turned to the other side as he heard you stepping out and walking into the bathroom, washing your hands.
He learned to close and lock all the doors and made sure that nothing dangerous was around you.
But suddenly he heard the hair dryer which made him jump out of the bed.
What if you threw it into the flowing water? He wondered and quickly opened the door.
Indeed he was right. The water was flowing and you were barefoot as you dried your already dry hair.
Yoosung made sure to unplug the device as his heart was racing.
He would love to drag you back to bed, but he tried it once and back then he swore he would never ever try to do it again. It was the worst night in his life which also ended with you staying in the ER for the night.
But luckily, you finished after a few minutes and could happily go back to bed.
Well, Yoosung needed to calm down first.
Jaehee
The reason why you tried your best to not drink any alcohol was that you were scared that you would sleepwalk on Jaehee again and so whenever you congratulated each other, you used hot milk.
,,How was it again? You don’t drink because you are scared to sleepwalk again?’’ Yoosung asked you and you nodded. ,,Yep, sometimes this can be a trigger, well, the last time I drank a bit too much and ended up giving Jaehee a heart attack,’’ you laughed, thinking back.
,,It’s funny now, but back then I really thought I needed to call the police! I only woke up when I heard the door from the shop getting opened and when I didn’t feel her in the bed I decided to check.
Of course my heart sank when I saw all the doors wide open and Mc nowhere to see!’’ Jaehee told them the story.
,,She actually called me to track Mc down. Luckily, I could check all the CCTV’s!’’ Seven laughed, chewing his cake.
,,Well, I don’t remember any of it, but I saw the CCTV,’’ you mumbled.
Ever since then, all the doors stayed closed at night and all you did at night was walk around the bed and go back to sleep again, luckily.
Saeyoung
,,I actually saw that as a child you were in therapy for sleepwalking,’’ Saeyoung said one day, making you look up.
,,It’s not therapy,’’ you corrected him, explaining what was checked when you were a child.
,,Can sleepwalking still happen to you?’’ he asked you, noticing that neither in Rika’s nor in the current apartment, he saw you sleepwalking.
You nodded and told him that you actually closed all the doors every night. ,,Oh! So this was you?’’ he nodded. Well, since he had the best security, he never closed his doors, but now this all made sense.
And indeed, that night, it happened that you sleepwalked again and Saeyoung didn’t think of it as a happy scenario.
,,You actually drank my Dr. Pepper and ate all my chips,’’ he sobbed with red puffy eyes, talking about last night.

The very first time Saeran saw you sleepwalking happened when he was still with you in Mint Eye.
That’s why he stayed behind your doors since the other guards at that time didn’t know what to do with you.
One of the reasons why you guys moved next to a park filled with flowers, was that whenever it happened, you would walk to the nearest place with flowers.
So it was this night, like always, Saeran made sure to somehow lead you to the jacket so that in your sleepy state, you could put it on in order to not freeze and then he followed you outside where you first mumbled a few things and then walked back in.
,,I really can’t believe that you do this with me at least every second month,’’ you mumbled, not remembering anything you did.
Saeran just chuckled as he nodded, but this too was a beautiful memory for him.
Jihyun
The both of you decided to tell Lucy at an early age that her mother, you, was a sleepwalker so that in the night, she wouldn’t get scared since children tended to get scared at night for every movement and noise.
And you guys were actually lucky that she understood it perfectly and never cried at night when she heard something.
Maybe because she felt safe to know that it was you anyway?
Growing a bit older, Lucy also stayed up at night, like Jihyun, to observe you carefully without trying to wake you up.
This actually made her interest grow even more, so much so that one day she confessed that she wanted to study medicine, focusing on the brain and neurology.

The chaos returned for the third time when Vanderwood decided to install a camera so that he could see whoever was the cause of this mess.
And the best was, that the camera had a sensor which would wake him up for any movement.
,,Gotcha,’’ he groaned when his phone lit up, trying to wake you up just to tell you that he would catch the person. However, when he didn’t feel you next to him, he tried to fall back to sleep. It would surely have been only you, right?
Suddenly it hit him. What if someone was hurting you?
Jumping out of bed, he ran into the living room just to catch the responsible person - you.
